Peter Pond is a small body of water near the harbour, connected to the tidal system and providing a reflective pool amid the southern part of the town. The pond is a quiet, attractive feature that adds to the watery character of this part of Emsworth. Ducks, moorhens, and the occasional heron frequent the pond. It is a pleasant stopping point on a walk around the harbour area and provides a complement to the larger Slipper Mill Pond nearby.
