Heritage, Emsworth
Emsworth Museum is a small local history museum housed in a building on North Street, near the town centre. The museum tells the story of Emsworth from its origins as a fishing village through the oyster trade era to the present day. Exhibits include material on the oyster fishery, the harbour, the coaching era, and the town's literary connections including P.G. Wodehouse. The museum is run by volunteers and opens on weekend afternoons and during special events.
