The Emsworth Show Established

The Emsworth Show is an annual horticultural and community show that has been held in the town since the early twentieth century. The show takes place on the Emsworth Recreation Ground and features flower and vegetable competitions, craft displays, children's activities, and community stalls. It is one of the oldest and best-attended community events in the area, drawing visitors from across the Havant borough and beyond. The show is organised by volunteers and reflects the strong tradition of community involvement that characterises Emsworth. The competition classes cover everything from prize-winning dahlias to home-baked cakes, and the event has the feel of a traditional English village show, even though Emsworth is a town of ten thousand people.
